Exporting your store catalog

You can export your whole catalog or individual products from your online store. The data will be downloaded in the form of CSV files. Exporting is useful if you want to update existing products and categories via import, get your store data in a table format for importing to third-party systems, for analytical purposes, etc.

Exporting your whole catalog

You can export your whole store catalog data at once. Exported information will include all the available details on all the products and categories that exist in your store, including names, SKUs, descriptions, prices, and more.

To export your whole catalog:

  1. From your store admin, go to Catalog → Data Import & Export.
  2. Scroll down to the Export data block and click Export Catalog:

That’s it! A CSV file in your store’s format will be downloaded to your device.

You can edit the file and import it back into your current store to update existing products (feel free to remove the columns you don’t make changes to), import the file into another store on our platform to create a catalog there (if you have more than one store), or save the file as backup.

From the Catalog → Data Import & Export page, you can also export information on all your orders or customers by clicking Export All Orders and Export All Customers respectively. On top of that, you can export data on gift cards, abandoned carts.

Exporting selected products

You can export data on individual products that exist in your online store. Exported information includes all the available product details, including names, SKUs, descriptions, prices, and more.

To export individual products:

  1. From your store admin, go to Catalog → Products.
  2. Click Filter in the left upper corner to use filters, then tick the products and click Export Selected:

You can also use the search field at the top of the product list and click Export All Found.

That’s it! A CSV file in your store’s format will be downloaded to your device.

You can edit the file and import it back into your current store to update existing products (feel free to remove the columns you don’t make changes to), import the file into another store on our platform to create a catalog there (if you have more than one store), or share it with your suppliers.

Viewing exported CSV files

You can view and edit CSV files that you export from your store in any spreadsheet editor like Google Sheets, Excel, or Numbers.

Generally, comma is used as a delimiter in the CSV files that you export from your store. However, if you choose comma as a decimal separator in Settings → General → Regional Settings → Price display format, the delimiter is a semicolon.

If your CSV file’s delimiter is a comma and you see extra lines when viewing the file in Excel, try temporarily changing the regional settings on your PC to English ones.

Prices, weights, dimensions, and option price modifiers in “%” all have the same decimal separator that you set in Settings → General → Regional Settings → Price display format.
