Testimonials block

The Testimonials block helps you demonstrate how other customers have benefited from your product or service. This makes the Testimonials block a powerful tool for establishing trust and encouraging potential customers to take action. You can also use these blocks to add customer and media reviews. 

Adding the block

Here’s how to add this block to your page:

1. Choose a location where you want to add your Testimonials block and click the Add a block (+) Plus button.
2. In the Block library, choose Testimonials from the list to see the pre-designed layout for this block type.  
3. Click the pre-designed layout you like to add it to your page.

Customizing the Testimonials block

You can customize the Testimonials block with the help of its control pane.  To activate it, click the block and then click the Block settings icon. 

The block settings menu consists of two tabs: the Layout tab and the Appearance tab.

IIn the Layout tab, you can switch the block layout and choose which elements should be displayed in the block. To hide a specific block element (for example, if you want to remove a button), remove the blue tick next to the element’s name.

In the Appearance tab, you can make the following changes:

• Block style: Choose the color theme of the block
• Block spacing: Adjust the whitespaces of this block at the top and the bottom
• Horizontal alignment: Choose the horizontal content alignment for the block (left or center)
• Content layout: Choose the number of items in a row
• Media settings: Add a black and white filter (make images black and white) and make images round or square.

 Once you are done customizing Block settings, click Save to confirm the changes.

Editing text in the testimonial

To edit the demo content, click the text piece and start typing your new text. Or you can copy and paste your existing content from the text editor you are using.

Editing images

You can replace demo images in the Testimonials block with your customers’ photos. Read our Customizing your images tutorial for detailed instructions.

Duplicating block elements

If you would like to showcase more testimonials or reviews in your Testimonials block, you can duplicate any of the elements. To do that, hover over any testimonial you want to duplicate and click the Duplicate icon. The identical block element will be inserted to the right of the original element.

Moving block elements

To move the testimonial around the block, hover over it to bring up the controls and click the Move icon. Drag the element and drop it on another spot inside the block. The layout of the block will adjust automatically to preserve the clean look and feel of your website.
